North Shore-LIJ Health System is pleased to introduce The Bohlsen Women’s Imaging Center. The Center offers you a comprehensive range of breast imaging services in a comfortable, spa-like environment. Our professional and compassionate staff, state-of-the-art digital technology and convenient scheduling help minimize your anxiety and give you peace of mind.

Through the North Shore-LIJ Health System, you have access to the largest group of fellowship-trained radiologists on Long Island. Through our computer imaging system, your images can be sent to consulting radiologists with the highest level of interpretive skills to assure you get the most timely, accurate recommendations for follow up care.

In addition to providing all digital mammography with Computer Assisted Diagnosis, our center now offers the latest emerging technology in mammography – digital breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography). The 3D mammogram is currently performed as a complement to the standard digital mammogram as clinically appropriate. All images are obtained at the same time on the same mammography unit. Your mammogram experience remains unchanged.

Dedicated mammographers, registered nurses and certified technologists are all part of a team of providers committed to quality and exceptional clinical service. The Breast Imaging Center is open Monday- Saturday and offers early morning and evening appointments.
