The combined Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism is engaged in a variety of activities related to diabetes, thyroid disease including cancer, pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, bone and mineral metabolism including osteoporosis and women’s health issues including polycystic ovarian syndrome and menopause.

Our program includes an active in-patient consultation service at both Long Island Jewish and North Shore University Hospital campuses. Our faculty practice is based at 865 Northern Boulevard in Manhasset. There we provide consultation and on-going management of all aspects of Endocrine disorders. Our on-site facilities include state of the art thyroid ultrasonography, ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration of the thyroid and bone densitometry (osteoporosis testing). We maintain an American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) accredited diabetes education program as well as nutritional counseling services..

Members of our faculty have appointments at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine and are recognized leaders in clinical endocrinology.
