North Shore-LIJ Affiliates with Largest Endoscopy Center in New York State

GARDEN CITY, NY -- The North Shore-LIJ Health System announced today that it has affiliated with the Endoscopy Center of Long Island in Garden City, the largest facility of its kind in New York State.
The 10,000-square-foot facility has 14 board-certified gastroenterologists, colorectal surgeons, pathologists and anesthesiologists who annually treat more than 9,000 patients suffering from diseases of the stomach, colon and esophagus. The practice, which was started in 2003, has five procedure rooms, state-of-the-art technology and is fully accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Robert A. Klein, MD, is the managing director of the Endoscopy Center of Long Island; he is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

The Endoscopy Center of Long Island is located at 711 Stewart Ave. near the Meadowbrook Parkway.
The practice is open Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
