The recently opened Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine is the first new allopathic (granting MD degrees) school in New York since 1963. With more than 1,600 residents and fellows serving and studying throughout the health system, North Shore-LIJ is at the forefront of educating future healthcare leaders.
