The Center for Learning and Innovation, in partnership with eCornell, offers distance learning classes to physicians, managers and future leaders within the health system.
Established and wholly owned by Cornell University, eCornell has the most comprehensive online, professional and executive development curriculum offered by any top-20 university in the United States.
There are a variety of certificate series offered from eCornell, each focusing on specific skills and competencies.
How to Register
We request managers’ approval because they should be overseeing these courses and ensuring that coursework is appropriate for the level of employee.
Once you have decided upon the course(s) you would like to take and discussed with your manager; please follow the process listed below:
- Have your manager e-mail Dr. Kathleen Gallo, Senior Vice President and Chief Learning Officer, stating:
- The manager (full name) gives you, the employee (full name), permission to register for eCornell course(s).
- State the full course name(s) and course number(s).
- Once Dr. Gallo receives the e-mail, she will notify your manager about the process for approval and registration.
