Cystoscopy Procedures

Cystoscopy Procedure

Cystoscopy is the use of a cystoscope, which is a thin, lighted scope, to examine the bladder. Tiny surgical instruments can be inserted through the cysstoscope, which allow your doctor to remove samples of tissue or samples of urine. The cystoscopy procedure is often used to confirm the diagnosis of bladder cancer. The cystoscope can even been used to remove small bladder stones and tumors.
